High Tech Planters
The NEW 5000 Series Row Unit
Announcing the NEW Kinze 5000 Series row unit – delivering more productivity, speed options, and user convenience while reducing daily maintenance! This electric drive-only row unit is available with a full array of residue control, closing wheel, fertilizer, and seed handling options to fulfill the unique requirements of your farm.
The NEW 5900 Front Fold Planter
Announcing the NEW Kinze 5900 front fold planters that replace the 4905 lineup! Equipped with the all-new 5000 Series row unit and many other new productivity-boosting features, they are available in 24R30, 16R30, and 12R30 configurations. Available with True Speed high speed electric seed meters for productive planting at speeds up to 12 mph or True Rate vacuum electric seed meters.
The NEW 5700 Front Fold Planter
Announcing the NEW Kinze 5700 front fold planters that replace the 4705 lineup! Equipped with the all-new 5000 Series row unit and many other new productivity-boosting features, they are available in the 60′ 36R20 and 24R30 configurations, and the NEW 40′ 24R20 configuration. Available with True Speed high speed electric seed meters for productive planting at speeds up to 12 mph or True Rate vacuum electric seed meters.
Upgraded Liquid Fertilizer System
A time-saving liquid fertilizer system with up to 750 gallons of onboard capacity is available on the 5900 and 5700 planters. Equipped with a NEW diaphragm-style pump, it easily draws fertilizer from saddle tanks or an auxiliary nurse tank. A NEW high-accuracy control valve enables application rates from 2–25 GPA.
Articulated Swivel Hitch
Also new for model year 2024 is an articulated swivel hitch that protects the tractor drawbar and improves handling in irregular fields. On the 5900 front fold planter it is available as a category 4 hitch, and on the 5700 front fold planter it is available either as a category 4 or 5 hitch.
Low Maintenance Markers
Both the 5900 and 5700 planters are available with and without markers depending on your needs and preferences. The updated bolt-on design reduces the planting width and allows markers to be easily added later if required. Greaseless fiber pivot bushings make the markers maintenance-free.
Granular Chemical Box
For insecticide application; controlled by the Blue Vantage display
Seed Corn Hopper
Fits onto row unit side panels to plant male corn rows. Works with both electric meters and has a 0.8-bushel capacity.
Plot Hopper
For planting test and demonstration plots. It slides onto the mini hoppers of both electric meters and has a 0.1-bushel capacity.
Blue Vantage Display
As the Blue Vantage display continues to grow in popularity, additional features are released. For model year 2024, the following have been added:
- Remote display viewing by customers and dealers
- Prescription rate up and down adjustment by percentages
- Screen customization
- Control integration for the 5000 Series row unit
- Supports planting wheat with True Rate meters
- Supports Climate FieldView™ with a kit available from CLIMATE
Classic Planters
3605 Upgrades
For model year 2024, the 3605 pivot fold planters now have many features as standard:
- LED work lights
- Row markers
- Category 4 articulating swivel hitch (category 3 available through parts)
- Half-rate drive when split rows are ordered
3505 Upgrades
The 3505 pivot fold planters also will have LED work lights as a standard feature.
