Farm Progress Show 2017

The Farm Progress Show is a great place to see the latest innovations in the agriculture industry. This year, Kinze featured an industry-changing planter prototype that garnered a lot of attention at the show. Kinze also launched new grain cart and planter features. 

Prototype Planter

A 60′ pivot fold split row prototype planter was on display. Kinze talked with farmers who visited the booth to gather their feedback. There are currently no plans to build this planter. The feedback gathered will be used in the future development process.

New Grain Cart Features

Kinze launched industry-leading Camso brand tracks on the new series 1105 and 1305 dual auger grain carts and made tracks available for the first time on the 1051 single auger grain cart. The Camso brand tracks offer greater durability, easier maintenance and reduced soil compaction. The dual auger grain carts also feature a new, user-friendly, intuitive and ergonomic joystick control.

Kinze also showcased its highly versatile flex-frame 4900 planter, displaying both ground contact and electric drive, and its 3500 planter that is now available with 50 bushel total seed capacity bulk fill hoppers. The Seed Meter Test Stand displayed at the show further demonstrates the accuracy of seed drop spacing for the various Kinze seed meter options.
