In May 2013, Kinze announced that it would open a production facility in Vilnius, Lithuania to serve the growing Eastern European planter market. On June 18, 2013, a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening celebration took place at the new facility and the work of setting up the factory began in earnest. By the end of that year, production had started and the first planter rolled off the line. Within three months, production capabilities were increased and over 100 planters were produced. Recently, the fifth anniversary of the Lithuanian facility was celebrated with an event held at the plant in Vilnius.
Starting with a staff of only 16, the number of Kinze team members in Lithuania has increased to almost 50, and the number of planters, carts, and tillage product offerings continues to grow. We are proud of the accomplishments of the Kinze Europe Team and look forward to what the next five years will bring!
